The capital of Hungarian wine
The city of wine, Villány is located in South-Hungary, across the river Danube, to the East from Mountains of Villány. From the aspects of weather characteristics, better place couldn’t be found in the country for growing grapes and producing wine. Since Villány is Hungary’s southeast wine region, the climate is perfect for grapes: spring comes early, what means plantations get more sunshine over the season. Wines of Villány are internationally successful and well-known. Visitors come to the capital of wines to hike, to go for trips, to relax and of course the main activity for them is wine tasting, what they can do in the beautiful wineries, hotels or pensions.
